A Little About Me:

From the time I was a little girl teaching my stuffed animals and asking for a chalk board for Christmas, I knew I was called to teach. As a first-generation college student, it has been a dream come true to serve as an educator for the last 23 years. I started my teaching career at Tellico Plains Elementary School in 2003 where I taught 2nd and 4th grade. In 2014, I moved to Tellico Plains Junior High to teach 6th grade before assuming the Assistant Principal role in 2019. It is truly an honor to serve our students, teachers, and community! There is no place I'd rather be! 

I have four amazing children and the most perfect grandbaby. I love spending time with my family! I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, swimming, softball, game night, and traveling. I love our Tennessee mountains, but the beach is my favorite place to be...there's nothing better than the sunrise and sunset over the ocean.
