Welcome to the library! As the librarian, I get to enjoy two of the things I love, teaching children and reading books. I have worked in the Monroe County School system since 2002. First, as a kindergarten teacher for 14 years at Tellico Plains Elementary School. Then, I was given the opportunity to move over to Tellico Plains Junior High in 2016 as their librarian upon completing my classes in Library Science. I am involved in many activities at TPJHS including Beta Club, Homecoming, and Parent Involvement. I enjoy being involved in student learning and making TPJHS all it can be. I am proud to be a Beta Club sponsor and support our students as they compete in both state and national competitions. In my spare time, I love spending time with my boys, Tad and Toby, and singing with my gospel group, Fishers of Men.
